Delivery Policy


ORDER PROCESSING

All orders are processed and shipped on business days only, excluding major holidays. Orders placed via EFT will only be processed once the payment has cleared. Orders will be canceled if payment is not received within three working days. Orders placed using the PayFast payment gateway are processed immediately.

Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the next business day.

 

 HANDLING CHARGES

Delivery costs are calculated based on geographical location. Please select the appropriate delivery charge when checking out.

 DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

Our products are packaged with care to ensure safe delivery to anywhere in South Africa, and are DISPATCHED DAILY. Your order will be delivered to the address you provided within 24 - 48 hours of receiving your tracking number, depending on your location.

Our official courier partner is FastWay Couriers, and our secondary courier partner is Dawn Wing.

We use the following services:

Same day delivery - Local & shorthaul orders

This service is only available for Johannesburg suburbs and to major cities. Products are dispatched before 11 am, and are delivered by close of business the same day.

Overnight delivery - National delivery to major hubs

The courier service will have delivery effected within 1 - 2 business days from date of dispatch.

Economy delivery - Rural & longhaul orders

Regional area deliveries will be done within 2 – 4 business days depending on the geographical location.

 

 PARCEL TRACKING

We'll send you your tracking number in the shipping confirmation email. You can track your parcel by using the link in the email, or via our Track Your Order page.

Should you experience any abnormal delivery delays, please contact us or Fastway couriers, direct numbers of the driver for your area will be found by entering your suburb here. Dawn Wing customer care can be contacted on 0861 223 224.

 

 RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Due to the nature of our products and for your health and safety, we cannot accept returns.

If you are unsatisfied with your order in any way, please contact us at info@oamobu.co.za with your order number and questions or concerns so that we may rectify the problem quickly. We strive to provide you with the best products and best customer service possible. When you're happy, we're happy!

Please understand that all our products are made in small batches, completely by hand, so there will be slight variations from product to product. For instance shape, size, colour, scent, etc. can be different each time. Like a fingerprint, each product is unique in its own way.

 

TIPS TO ENSURE THAT YOUR ORDER IS DELIVERED ON TIME

Enter detailed shipping information

  • Upon checking out, please ensure that you provide us with your preferred shipping address – the more info the better ;-)
    • Please provide us with alternative contact numbers
    • If you stay in an apartment building or student residence, please provide us with the complete name of the apartment/residence
    • Please provide us with any special delivery instructions that will assist our courier with delivering of your order

Track your order

  • As soon as we have shipped your products, we will send you a tracking number for your order
  • The tracking number can be used to determine the:
    • Location of your parcel
    • Whether our courier has already delivered the package
    • Whether our courier has tried to call you
    • Who has signed for your package

 Receive your order

  • Your order will be delivered on a “door to door” basis – this means that:
    • We guarantee that your order will be delivered to the address provided by you
    • Someone residing at the address provided can receive your order on your behalf (their name will be recorded and can be viewed by tracking the status of your order)
  • If nobody is available at the time of delivery, your parcel will be returned to the depot to be re-scheduled for the next delivery day. You can contact us or call the courier to make delivery arrangements
